Occupational Health Services We Offer

WholeCare Family & Occupational Health provides a variety of occupational health services to support employees, job applicants, and local businesses.

  • Many employers require a physical examination before employment. We perform comprehensive pre-employment physicals to help determine whether applicants can safely perform the essential functions of their position while completing required employer documentation.

  • We provide employment physical examinations for individuals beginning new positions, changing job responsibilities, or meeting employer health requirements. Each evaluation is completed thoroughly and professionally according to your employer's requirements.

  • If you've been away from work because of an illness or injury, we provide return-to-work evaluations to determine when it's medically appropriate to safely resume your job duties.

    When appropriate, we also complete return-to-work documentation and recommend temporary work restrictions based on your medical condition.

  • Fit-for-duty evaluations help determine whether an employee can safely perform the essential functions of their position. We assess your current medical condition and provide recommendations regarding your ability to return to work safely.

  • Workplace injuries can happen unexpectedly. WholeCare Family & Occupational Health evaluates and treats many non-emergency workplace injuries in a timely and professional manner.

    Common workplace injuries we evaluate include:

    • Minor cuts and lacerations

    • Sprains and strains

    • Back pain

    • Bruises and contusions

    • Minor burns

    • Repetitive strain injuries

    • Work-related musculoskeletal pain

    • Follow-up care for minor workplace injuries

    If your injury requires emergency care, advanced imaging, surgery, or specialized treatment, we'll coordinate referral to the appropriate provider.

  • Many employers require vision or basic hearing screening as part of an employment examination. We provide vision screening and whisper hearing screening when requested by your employer.

  • As an FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner, we perform DOT Physicals and CDL Medical Exams for commercial drivers.

  • We provide pre-employment physicals, employment physicals, return-to-work evaluations, fit-for-duty evaluations, DOT physicals, vision and whisper hearing screenings, employment medical documentation, and evaluation and treatment of many minor workplace injuries.

  • Yes. Our provider is an FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner and performs DOT Physicals and CDL Medical Exams for commercial drivers.

  • Yes. We evaluate and treat many minor, non-emergency workplace injuries, including sprains, strains, back pain, bruises, minor burns, cuts, lacerations, repetitive strain injuries, and other work-related musculoskeletal conditions.

  • At this time, WholeCare Family and Occupational Health is not a designated workers' compensation provider. If treatment through a workers' compensation network is required, we'll help direct you to the appropriate provider.

  • We do not currently perform drug or alcohol testing onsite. If your employer requires these services, we can help coordinate a referral to an appropriate testing facility.

  • No. We do not currently perform OSHA respirator medical evaluations

  • Yes. Same-day appointments are available when possible.
